HANGING OPTIONS for Aluminium artwork

Your aluminium artwork will arrive complete with no holes or hangers. This is because it is so versatile to hang inside or out, and there are various ways to suit your needs.

INVISIBLE INSIDE HANGING:

3m Strips: The best option to avoid paint damage if ever removed. You can purchase either from us or from your local hardware store:

EXTERIOR VELCRO - Velcro brand extreme

For those that want it fixed, but do not want a permanent solution or screw into their walls, this exterior self-adhesive velcro is designed for heavy duty use on outdoor and rough surfaces, concrete, bricks etc. 

Each pack comes with 3 hook and 3 loop 25mm x 100mm in size. We recommend to cut the strips in half and distribute piece evenly around the edges and in the middle.

You will need (as a guide) 1 pack for small art (40cm), 2 for medium art (60cm) and 3 packs for larger sizes (90cm etc) but can get away with a little less if not in high exposed areas.

OTHER OPTIONS:

DRILLED SCREWHOLES: 

Perfect for wooden fencing, It is easy enough to drill holes into the aluminium with a steel or cobalt drill bit so you can screw to the wall. Just place some masking tape over the area you are drilling to protect the image. You can finish this look with screwcaps from your local hardware store.  If you are a little nervous, we also offer this service for you, just please allow a few extra days for delivery.

EXTERIOR CONSTRUCTION GLUE:

For a permanent solution, Siroflex Building adhesive (works with standard glue guns, not included). It has quick grab, neutral cure, UV resistant and suitable for most building substrates. Alternatively most exterior glues will be suitable dependant on your surface.
